Design Process
Initial Consultation
A visit to site and a detailed conversation with the client, allows me to draw up a full brief of their wishes and needs. It is so important for me to ensure that I have a real understanding of their ambitions and ideas as well as any constraints such as budget, maintenance capabilities and planning.
Design
In partnership with the client, and following a survey and site evaluation, concept designs and proposals are drawn up, and presented. Adjustments are made if necessary and developed into finished, scaled plans, construction drawings and planting plans.
From Design to Reality
Specifications, tender documents and contracts are prepared. Plants and materials, including all elements connected with the design, such as furniture and sculpture are sourced. Expert technicians are brought in when needed and all construction and planting is monitored. Upon completion full maintenance schedules are offered.
